Make a thon_wearable media workshop was hold by Dimension+. H.K digital art artist Keith and I were tutors of workshop. My role is fashion designer not illustrator this time. During the workshop, Keith taught students basic knowledge of use electronics and micro controllers. Experiences different kind of sensor from light、 sound、 3-Axiz (like wii)、distance、vibration. And I gave them examples of how fashion designer use digital art in their works and help students make clothes and styling.
Dimension+主辦的穿戴式媒體創作馬拉松工作坊正式結束。
工作坊由來自香港的新媒體藝術家Keith和我帶領大家。Keith安排了一天半的課程幫助學員有基本的電路知識並實際手做組裝線路，以及試驗不同種類的感應器能達到的效果。我是以服裝設計師的角度，提供大家服裝製作的協助以及整體造型的建議。工作坊以分組的方式進行，讓大家腦力激盪出身體與科技之間各種的可能性。我們自己也玩了一個簡單的試驗，是以心跳控制LED燈光閃爍的速度，融合北海道小英雄帽子，為此半夜還縫製的一件和服上衣，由於LED是一顆一顆串聯起來的很不穩定，大家玩完一輪回到我們身上的時候已經無法發亮了（笑）！
